The thing I find really interesting is the lack of empathy for the successful UK businesses who are struggling due to Brexit. I don't get it.

This "UK" business have chosen German workers over British farmers. Fuck 'em.

Animals don't have feelings. It is impossible to feel empathy with them.

Non story because it doesn’t affect you directly. Look at the long list of other industries similarly affected. One of them will impact on your cosy life and make it less so.

It's not the vegan society so we don't need comments from the sort of people who think burning butchers shops is acceptable.

This is the EU being obstinate just like we've been saying they are for years. Some remainers woke up when they threw their toys out of the pram regarding vaccines, I guess some still haven't.

Turning our backs on our nearest & most diverse market is plain stupid.

The Brexit impacts on our shellfish industry were clear to see, we're losing a niche but locally important sector because the government didn't understand and didn't care about the ramifications.

My sector is dead in the water now. Not cosy.

Never heard of them, a s now is the opportunity to move production back to the uk , I don’t believe they couldn’t find somewhere suitable in this country

Vegans have been known to do this, among many other crimes.

I don't eat sausages pork or not. See a UK sticker on something and wouldn't start to think about it travelling that far.
What about New Zealand Lamb. Scottish beef etc. Are they all misleading us in some way?

Most supermarkets will use British meat in at least some of their products. Read the packet.

I think this is because there is a perception that many farmers and fishermen mostly voted in favour of brexit. I don’t know if this is true because I haven’t researched it, but they certainly did a lot of complaining about the EU rules and restrictions that were imposed on them so it would make sense.

I struggle to sympathise with anyone who voted for brexit feeling the negative effects of it, because unfortunately those of us that didn’t vote for it have to face the negative effects as well.

I wonder how much the pig farmers made out of the deal. Wouldn't be the last time farmers have been screwed over like this, look at the milk industry.
