Chicken pox? Pityriasis rosea? Impetigo? Could be a number of things.

Any other symptoms? Is it itchy? Covid can present as just a rash in children.

Worth getting a GP appt and sending a pic if you can.

AntiSocialDistancer · 24/03/2021 15:55

I'd speak to a GP

If your pharmacist recommended GP, I would go back to the GP. What do you mean not interested, did you book a virtual appointment? You should be able to send pics.

Your rash reminds me of Guttate psoriasis which I had as an adult

Catatatata · 24/03/2021 16:42

The receptionist told me to go to pharmacy as its not a gp issue over the phone. The pharmacist who actually saw it told me to ring back but they are closed now for training.

That looks like an early chicken pox outbreak... but it would usually start on the torso. If it is, there will be more tomorrow! And some will start to scab over.

Im pretty sure its not chicken pox ( mum of 3) but hes now got another lot on his other leg and a red ring

I agree it doesn’t look like Chicken Pox.

The red ring looks like a fungal rash and the second picture looks very much like another child has been scratching at him. Has he been in nursery? Or has he been scratching because it's been itchy? Good luck with docs tomorrow.
