I need some inspiration! Getting bored of fruit/chocolate buttons. What’s your favourite snack?

Protein yoghurt from Lidl
Banana
1 cup strawberries
1 slice integral bread + feta + cherry tomatoes
1 kinder penguin

All these decent calories and filling for me!

I have just discovered peanut butter spread on apple slices and really enjoy it. I also like a slice of banana bread, Nigella recipe, sometimes with a handful of chocolate chips thrown in.

A two finger kit Kat or one finger twix is around 100kcals and satisfies my sweet tooth. Or at this time of year a few mini eggs. Savoury wise, I like apple slices dipped in peanut butter, or carrot sticks dipped in hummus. Ds2 likes hard boiled eggs.

Small portion of leftovers (maybe weird, but satisfying)

Peanut butter on apple slices or dates
French fries (the crisps) or wotsits.
I'm also partial to a halved hard boiled egg with salt, pepper and a blob of Mayo or salad cream on top.

So I’m trying to be healthier at the moment and I’m loving:
Those mini sweet peppers, cut In half, spread with some cream cheese and top with a sprinkle of ‘everything but the bagel’ seasoning,
Pitta or quinoa crisps dipped in caramelised onion hummus,
Mozzarella and sundried tomatoes or cherry tomatoes just sliced up together - maybe with a drizzle of green pesto,
Gherkins or picked onions just out of the jar,
Laughing cow blue cheese flavoured triangles on crackers or melba toast,

Cheese and pineapple on cocktail sticks,
Chicken satay skewers,
I can also easily just eat a whole pack of proscuttio/Parma ham/salami in one go Blush

OP I like dates and banana chips (together) the big fat dates.

I don't really think snacks should be healthy, but I don't really snack - if I'm hungry I have a meal.

A Cadbury Curly Wurly takes longer to eat than chocolate buttons and yet has fewer calories.
You can buy Greggs sausage rolls frozen from Iceland. You can get them in both the standard size and mini. M&S sausage rolls are the next best thing.
Cocktail sausages dipped in mustard
Cheese scone (microwaved) with marmite
Toasted crumpet with marmalade

Asda salami. The one that is one pound. To bring it to the next level, wrap it round a piece of cheese.
Slice of toast (the heel) slightly cooled with a load of real butter.
White bread, real butter, handful of crisps.
A banana.
Protein yogurt or Skyr. Super filling.
