We have downloaded from the App Store a few games for my child which are for age range 4+. I don’t pay for them, they are all free so pop up with adverts all the time. Whilst sitting with her and playing with her some of the adverts that pop up are so she inappropriate for a 4+ game. One of them is two adults in a shower kissing with tongues out (I am no prude by the way) and the advert demonstrates that you use a sponge to wash away the soap to reveal almost naked people. Or women with clothes on where you scrub them away with a sponge and they are wearing suspenders and bras. Am I missing something? How can I vet this further? I have removed the games and are sticking to CBeebies apps. Another game was two adults in bed with the caption ‘what’s that?’ With an arrow pointing to a man under the covers with an erection 😳. Surely this cannot be ok?
