Bamboo/cork placemats and/or coasters in a botanical design. Try Emma J Shipley

Think of practicalities, overseas postage can cost a fortune especially if you have to use DHL or similar. Some countries dont have reliable postal systems so a parcel could easily 'get lost', turn up several years later.
Look at shops that deliver internationally which tends to be better though can be difficult if sending to a PO Box address.
You also have to be aware of customs restrictions... things like wood/cork etc may not be allowed in.
Etsy usually have some nice things so have a look there.

You could send a plant via an online florist.

A nice card that can be framed?

A voucher.

OK not very exciting but it is difficult to find things that can be sent.

Auto watering, er, not sure what they are called but they are a bulb you fill with water and put in a pot plant to water the plant automatically, some are plastic others are glass so would need careful packing.

A terrarium necklace.
