I wake up too early every day - but do go to bed early as well. Quite pleased to see this study that looked at a million people's sleep patterns, and saw that 6.5 to 7 hours sleep is actually okay. In fact it showed that 7 hours was better than 8 hours for some .

I thought others might be interested, especially as it's 4.30 am

Yes I’m a 10.00pm and a 5:00am riser. Especially between the equinoxes in lighter months. Best part of the day.

My mother then my husband were insomniacs and it ruled their lives, making both of them hard to live with.
I wake very early, often after only a few hours sleep, but it doesn’t matter, I catch up on sleep the next night or can have a brief nap in the day. Just accept your natural pattern and don’t fight it.

I do - thanks.

I thought it was interesting - that's it.
