Anyone fancy helping me think of a name for new Hypnobirthing business?

I completed my training course to teach Hypnobirthing (I’m a registered midwife) before Covid. I’m really keen to try and get my business off the ground but I’m really struggling to think of a name! Helppppp

Given my username, I felt it was my duty to roll out the puns. Hopefully, that clears the air for more sensible suggestions. I'll back out now, but can't resist leaving you with:

That last one is a must!

Not really - obstetric is a hard way to say and it's a bugger of a word to type correctly! Shock

Wondermule · 21/03/2021 21:51

Hahaaa but I suspect the sort of women that want to attend these classes would prefer something wholesome and Earth-motherly. How about Hera Calm Births?! (Hera is Greek goddess of birth!)

I wouldn’t go for a joke name - funny as they are - it may make you seem unprofessional. The ones exuding a “calm” feeling are better and get the message across of what you are offering. What about:
Hypnobabe
Calm waters etc

LouNatics · 21/03/2021 22:00

At your cervix is a pan old midwife joke, you can buy it on t shirts!

Zen Mothers
Hypno Helper

Together Through Hypnobirthing
Hold Space - Hypnobirthing
Birth Together - Hypnobirthing

Something like that

I wouldn't go for a joke name either - and now you've told me "at your cervix" has been done before, you've burst my bubble, and I'll slope off quietly to leave the far more sensible suggestions.

I will give a shout out to @DJattheendoftheworld for Ute'R'us, which really made me laugh! Star

@DadDadDad At your cervix 😂😂

In all seriousness though OP, I think the word hypnobirthing is quite misleading and really put me off for a while as it sounds a bit mumbo jumbo. I was pleasantly surprised when I actually started looking into it that hypnobirthing is really just about empowering women to feel calm, confident and in control of whatever birth they have. So maybe drop the word hypnobirthing altogether and use words that imply calmness and confidence, etc.
