You know when a smoke alarm/carbon monoxide alarm gets a low battery and it beeps every 30 seconds or so to warn you - does anyone know how long it's likely to do this until it gives up the ghost? I can hear a beep coming from somewhere (99.9% sure it's not in my flat, it's not loud enough).
I've asked the other flat owners and it's not them. I think it's next door but they seem to have gone away for lockdown. It's starting to drive me a bit crazy at night because it's more noticeable then and it keeps me awake waiting for the next beeeeeep. I'll get some earplugs but it should stop soon shouldn't it? It's been 4 days now
