HRT patches

Just started on the patches as they are supposed to have fewer side effects than the pills, but they leave the annoying sticky stuff on my leg. Any suggestions how to get it off other than scraping it with something abrasive? Thanks.

I use avocado oil as I have a bottle in the bathroom for my hair but any sort will do . Leave it on for a minute and you can just rub off the sticky stuff very easily.

A bit of Vaseline on some tissue works for me, though I often need to do quite a bit of rubbing to get all the sticky stuff off!

Hi been on patches evorel for 4 weeks now and last 2 weeks headaches on and off and then last week or so go to sleep ok but wake in night with back pain then can’t get back off which makes me start stressing about things is this to do with patches was great on gel but unfortunately started bleeding on and off after a month and so dr took me off it really need to be on hrt as diagnosed with osteoporosis few months ago and my moods were getting really low so need to be on it worried about telling my dr in case she takes me off them

Apparently you can get a gel now.

Baby oil and a tissue. That sounds a bit rude.
