Morning all! What's everyone up to today?

I've been up since just before 8 but had a lazy morning scrolling t'interweb & Pinterest for a little crochet project for Easter.

I'm just about to wash up last night's few pots, then iron dd1's school shirts and wash my make-up brushes

Dd1 wants to bake some cookies so we'll do that, and dd2's mantis needs feeding.

I've got pork in the slow cooker for pork & stuffing baguettes, with roast spuds on the side, later on.

Other than that, it's looking like a lazy day here! What about all of you? :)

I had my foot OP a fortnight ago and can't and shouldn't walk at the moment. So I am resting the foot, do the prescribed excercises and apart from that I do Duolingo and Babbel, read and listen to books.
DD is baking brownies, DH will cook something Japanese and DS enjoys his last 'chore free' day.

I'm about to fall into a YouTube hole whilst my husband does some outdoor maintenance. Might do some work later on... or maybe not.

I've completed the census for FIL, vacuumed, done some very easy baking, told the pets that they are very beautiful, run the dishwasher, put a wash on.

I might sit in the garden with a tea later, it feels all hopeful and Springlike outside.

Been to b and q for some bits and will pot up the window box. I desperately need to mow the lawn, but have a ton of work to do so will have to put it off yet again, I'm sure the neighbours must think they are living next to the Clampetts. Bit of cleaning and want to paint my nails tonight.

Just done the census, have the second load of washing on, have argued with 20yo ds about the shower and am going for my covid vaccination later on. Have some housework and work work to do at some point but have bobbed in here first.

Thinking about holibobs with the famalam mainly

DH and I have been removing multiple wheelbarrows of earth from our back garden into a skip (through the house as no rear access) in an attempt to level off the middle of the garden.

Am having a 5 minute sit down before we sort out a quick lunch.

Will take the dog and kids for a walk a bit later (stupidly excited then can actually drive to a park now!) and then FIL will likely come for a garden visit.

If we've enough energy left will try and re-arrange the dining room to see if we can make a space for a settee.

Done dishes, put out washing, rescued butterfly from summerhouse and said good morning to the frogspawn. Been for my vaccine and now having a little lie down.

Stayed in bed until about 9.30 - had a shower and breakfast and FaceTimed my mum for a chat.

Then I had to go and help DH as the dog went off after a deer in the woods luckily he re-appeared when he heard/saw my car!

Then it was back home for lunch - the TV is on but I'm not really paying much attention to it. No plans for the rest of the day.

We planned to go for a walk this morning, but spent so long discussing where to go as it feels we have walked every local walk 100 times already, that we decided to sack it off and have a day at home.
So DH and the DSs went and out in the garden to do a bit of tidying up while I went to Tesco.

DH is now trying to put ds2 down for a nap and I’m going to start cooking roast pork with sausage stuffed apples for tea, then we are going to all sit down to watch the last Harry Potter film as DS1 and I have just finished reading the book. We have been working through the series, book, then film and so on since July.

Up at 6 with 20 month old, called my mum, woke Dh around 8.30. Sorted some clothes for the charity shop, done the census, went to Aldi, have played at the park and now time for a bacon roll before a nap. Talking to my bff later and then maybe take out and line of duty tonight!

Went up snowdon at 7, painted the shed, bacon sarnies all round fir lunch. DD is giving DS a haircut🤦🏼‍♀️ And of off out again for a walk.

We went for a long walk this morning whilst it was sunny & discovered a while new area within walking distance of our house.

After lunch DD had Sunday school & she's been making salt dough.

Off to a friend's to get our wills signed, very exciting 🤣
