Shreddies Garments - help with flatulence odours - anyone tried them?

My sister suffers from bad flatulence. I saw an advert for these in Good Housekeeping magazine. They are designed to filter and neutralise flatulence odours. Has anyone tried them and if so can I ask if you would recommend them? Also, where did you buy them? Thanks. here

Never seen them. We buyer normal Shreddies, try to stay off the sugared ‘frosted’ varieties and especially meusli.

Would it not be sensible for her to examine her diet to see what is causing her flatulence?
I have reduced dairy a lot because that is what causes mine.

I've never heard of this and don't want to Google, is it something you eat or something you wear Confused

If you've seen an advert does it not have the details of how to buy?

Thanks everyone for your replies. allBlueuggboots good idea. She has tried excluding all sorts of things from her diet but the problem remains and is getting worse. Flying - it's a neuromuscular training device here

Sorry, getting confused. She also suffers from acid reflux and I've linked to that in the last post. The Shreddies are pants which neutralise the smell of odours caused by flatulence.

Are they knitted by Nanas?

OMG...I thought Nestle had added some benign charcoal or something to cereals. Should have read the link.

Rainybows790 · 21/03/2021 09:51

Yes- I have used them! They do help- however, they are not full proof and do let some wind escape depending on which way you are sitting (sometimes when I was moving around or changed position the air escaped)
You also have to be careful the way they are washed as it can destroy or stop the effectiveness of the charcoal(which I did).
I now use mine as period pants (along with other underwear) when having “heavy” days as they are quick thick and give me protection.
I would say that if you wanted 100% effectiveness then no, they don’t work but if you are wearing them so your family don’t suffer the majority of the time, then yes, go for it!
