|Areas in Plymouth that are ok..and where to avoid?

DD1 is looking to buy a house in Plymouth and I'm enjoying Rightmove and sending links. Prob up to 180k (which seems ridiculously cheap to me as I live in a horribly expensive area so am jealous!) She has lived in Derriford and is currently on rotation at the hospital there and also can't drive (yet) so good bus routes are essential.

Looking at a 2 bed (or poss 3). If anyone has any tips of good areas and dodgy ones we'd love to know!

Surely sticking to Derriford makes sense if she can’t drive. Otherwise perhaps Woolwell? I don’t think any bus routes are good and reliable enough for late nights on rotation though so she will end up spending a fortune on taxis which is probably best to avoid by moving away from the hospital.

She's a GP trainee so won't be permanently at Derriford. She was learning to drive before Covid but of course that stopped and she works such long hours on rotation that fitting lessons in is going to take a while :/
