Toddler ate pollen

DH bought me a bouquet of flowers with tulips and daffodils. They were on the kitchen side in a vase and toddler DS was sat on the side helping me make his ice cream sundae after dinner. He took one of the tulips and took it to his mouth but I removed it from him before he could bite it or anything. His lips were a bit yellow from pollen I assume. I didn't think much of it at the time but now he's in bed I'm worrying that it could be dangerous for him? I know tulip bulbs can be toxic but people do eat the petals. So if a bit of pollen got into his mouth could that be dangerous. This happened a few hours ago and he seemed fine at the time and since.

I didn't think to worry at the time. It's only since he's gone to bed I'm worrying. And I'm feeling guilty for not worrying earlier. But not sure I need to? DH is convinced I'm being so over anxious. We also have a baby and I'm very much in the grips of PND and anxiety.

Pollen is safe to eat.

Nothing to worry about. Tulip and daffodil pollen aren’t toxic and in any case he could only have swallowed a tiny amount.
