Going round the block taking photos of each of the cars parked. One at the side and one of the front or back of each?

Mid morning. Village. No illegal parking.

Crime scene would be my guess. Maybe a dangerous driving or a criminal damage where the position of parked cars in the vicinity is relevant? Other than that, no idea!

Perhaps someone has run a key down a load of vehicles or something.

Have you looked at the cars close up yourself?

OK so i'm glad it's not blindingly obvious and it's not just me

It was right round the block (well, 3 sides for certain) One of the cars was DD3s and it has no damage. No damage to any others down our bit of the lane.

Could it be possible that something has happened on the street and they want to approach people who have been there to see if anyone has any dashcam footage? I would assume he was making a record of where cars were and reg numbers to possibly contact people?
