Was give a pope Francis care sticker as a secret Santa present a few years ago. I loved it!! Have a new one to replace it with, but the old one is stuck fast. What can I remove it with?

If there's white or black smoke coming from the engine, you've got problems!

CongealedCrags · 21/03/2021 16:51
@CongealedCrags he sticks to the outside. People at my church love it. And it's quite handy for getting free parking in the cathedral car park, as people know who it belongs too.
The outside of the car, you say? Haven't you just solved every single parking thread ever? Someone parked across your drive? Don't leave a note - for £5.50 just stick the Pope on their window!

How long might it take someone to apply such a sticker to the outside of someone else's car parked in the church car park on the school run for example ?

You need one of those wibbly-wobbly waving hands for the final touch, and possibly an automatic spray dispenser for Holy Water on your bonnet. You've probably already got the cushions in the Papal colours on the back window ledge?
Pax vobiscum! Halo Halo Halo

TheLongRider · 21/03/2021 17:31

Can you arrange for your Archbishop friend to give it a blessing with holy water?

There might be a new Pope by then. You'll need a new sticker.
Toddlerteaplease · 21/03/2021 17:52

@TheLongRider I've told him the old sticker is gone... I'm waiting for him to say. That's good, before I send a pic of the new one. Grin

Maybe go over it with a hairdryer to really make it adhere and smooth out. Don't burn him though 🤣👍

CongealedCrags · 21/03/2021 18:23

You've missed a trick though. You could have replaced it with Jim Bowen and waited to see how long it took for someone to notice.

Toddlerteaplease · 21/03/2021 18:46

Who is Jim Bowen?

I love Big Papa Francis, he has such a smiley face.

I've got a dancing Pope Francis on my kitchen windowsill. (A Lourdes purchase) should I move him to the car?

I think you probably should have a St Christopher in the car, and whoever the patron saint is for mobile phones, in case the car breaks down.
