Gift to remember grandma - ideas

I received some inheritance from my grandma and would like to spend some on something to remember her by. I'm thinking jewellery is the logical idea but not really sure. What would you do?

I know it doesn’t really work in COVID situation but when I was in a similar situation I went on a trip of a lifetime think Inca trail plus as she always encouraged adventures. I am not a jewellery person but my memories from that trip are so wonderful and I always think of her

Also did she have any jewellery even small that had been passed down. I do have one small ring which I wear on special occasions of mine!

I’d buy a painting.

What did your grandma enjoy? What did you do Ruth her? My grandma had a charm bracelet, each charm was actually an engraved disc with the initial of each child and grandchild. When dd was born (2nd child) I started something similar.

A wooden bench for the garden with her name on the back
Inscribed tealight holder

Thank you, these are great ideas. I like the travelling idea for when we can do something again. We were close and enjoyed spending time together, used to go shopping and spend weekends with her.

I bought a beautiful antique rocking horse with some of the money my grandfather left me. He was around one hundred years old when we bought him, as was my grandfather when he died. We named him my grandfather’s name and it makes me smile when the dc call him that.

Plants that flower around the birthday of the person you want to remember are another nice idea.

I bought a campervan with money from my grandmother.

If you like the travelling idea then could you travel somewhere that reminds you of her, at her house at weekends did she ever say she had been somewhere or wanted to go somewhere? You could go there (when we are able to) and then put a picture of you next to the Eiffel Tower (or wherever it is) up next to your grandma’s picture.
That would make you remember her on the holiday AND every time you looked at the photo.
