His ability as Chancellor is what matters. Or should I say inability, given that George Osborne and Philip Hammond were much better, and Sajid Javid was not prepared to be dictated to by Dominic Cummings.

When I first saw him I thought about 5’6’’ - I’m surprised that people thought of his as being tall.

Very short. He is not wide in shoulders compared to the head, so the ratio is one of those very short, neat men, probably showing some ribs.

Sorry missed the other thread.

I assumed he was 6 foot or more. DP thought the same and so did DS. Just read an article in the paper today that said he was 5'6". How have we all thought he was so much taller?

Of course it has nothing to do with his job.

My mum met Boris Johnson and said the first thing she noticed was he wasn’t very tall he is 5’9 so not small but he slouches
