Can you get a second Facebook account?

I know you can't, but lots of people do. How? I've created a second one and after a couple of weeks Facebook deleted it. I'd like a second profile with my pen name for author-related stuff. Thanks!

Could you make a page for your writing stuff, rather than a second profile? That's what I've done.

Use a new email

It’s against ToS, so Facebook will delete it when they find it. If they didn’t, they’d run the risk of being accused of inflating the figures they use to support their business - investments, stock, ads.

Some last longer than others but most get deleted in the end.

You’re supposed to use a page for business related things. Some people change their personal profile to be more business oriented, which walks the line of the terms; so can work if you’re careful. But second profiles don’t really work out well for the majority of people.

I've got 2 though one I've not used in years. I set up a brand new account just before leaving my now exh. It's easy to do, I used my maiden name for the second and a different email address. I know people who have several.

I have several - I used to use them for sending myself stuff in games back in the day Grin I know lots of people who have alternate ones for work, social etc.

Different e-mail addresses, different names and don't link them together.
