What are these insects

100s of them. Size of ants, assumed small flying ants as been gardening maybe distutbed a nest. But someone's just s said mosquitos? Theyre in water table and picnic table (which dd put sand on lol)

They do look like ants, not mosquitos.

Fungus gnats, also called drain flies

I look more like a bloody mosquito than they do. 😂😂.
I'd say they're flying ants.

Drain flies? Oh never heard of them.?

I've just googled fungus gnats.
They're not in soil etc like they say. Literally mainly in just the kids water table. I keep tipping out and re filling then they're back.

I downloaded a insect identifyer and put you picture in and it resembled the ants (flying) the most but it wasn't a 100% match.

Ohh what apps that. I cam try get a better pic tomorrow.
