Does anyone recognised this book?

I remember I picked it up as a child and now want to maybe read it again

It was set in Greek times and a baby is found abandoned(?) and Zeus takes him up to be fed by Hera.

Once he’s been fed, Hera discovers he has cloven hoofs instead of feet and has a right go at Zeus.

That’s all I can remember now...

Had Zeus been having it away with a goat - probably a married goat, too - those old Greek gods didn’t give a toss about the niceties.

No I don’t think he turned out to be Pan but it was long ago and i probably am remembering it wrong
