Thai restaurants in London

Trying to arrange a hen do and looking for a great Thai restaurant, which isn’t really pricey but has a really good atmosphere. There will be 10 of us and it will be a low key event so looking for something with a similar vibe to the Buddha Bar (but cheaper!) or Sticky Mango, or even similar to Ping Pong. Does anyone have any recommendations please?

We went to Thai Square at Putney Bridge a while ago - the food was good and not too expensive, plus there was a DJ and dancing afterwards.

Bit of a random location but there are quite a few bar options in Putney or you could always brave Fez Club Grin

Busaba is pretty social and has big tables that should get loads of you around them

Rosa’s Thai is amazing but pretty small so potentially not a party atmosphere

Red farm is dim sum and does bottomless brunch

Ping pong also used to do bottomless brunch, not sure they still do but it’s pretty good for hen parties

Ooohh yes to Busaba ❤️❤️❤️ And also to Rosa’s

Thai Square - Charing Cross, Covent Garden, The Strand and more.

It is a chain but the food is decent and not outrageously expensive.

Friday night (pre covid) was a big work crowd so atmosphere good.

Where are you staying? TBH Buddha Bar isn't outrageously expensive for central London, you could go to China Town (for Chinese instead of Thai!) and it would be cheaper depending where you go.

Busaba would be great for a hen do. I'm not sure if you can book tables though?

@ShirleyPhallus I feel a bit unwell just thinking about it!!!

Som Saa has great food and is cool/not a chain. Smoking Goat and Kiln are good too but I'm not sure if they'll take groups (might be down to rule of 6, but the websites won't let you book for more than that atm). Never been a fan of Thai Square et al, but might just be me.

Thank you for all the ideas! I had forgotten about Busaba, I went there a long time ago and yes, lots of memories of Fez 🍷 🤢🤣

Kin and Deum is also amazing and really chilled laid out inside, would be great for groups!
