Family Court alcohol issues Breathalysers

Hi there, this is my first time posting, I’m
Just curious if anyone out there has any experience when their ex has alcohol issues. We are going through court re child contact arrangements. He has repeatedly drank drove and put our child at risk. He dosn't accept rules / the law. I have been using a breathalyser which has enabled me
to promote safe contact but also to identify and withdraw when it’s not. (He is a serial drunk driver- although only caught twice- once many years ago and again most recently after I’d reported him when he came to collect our child drunk- I breathalysed him- he was over the limit and he drove off) the courts are saying they can’t enforce the breathalyser as its intrusive! I’m terrified as I know he will be doing it again as soon as no one is watching. I feel like they won’t let me keep my child safe and are expecting me to let him have overnight stays... what can the court do to safeguard? He passed a strand test which only proved he didn’t drink chronic excessive amounts in 3 month period - but my concerns are still the same. Thanks in advance
