misscarraige & pcos - TTC baby no 2

Hi all, I was diagnsed with polycystic overies in 2019 as they were seen on a scan and i had irregular periods. I am not overweight and do not have high insulin etc. I was referred to get help with concieving but fell pregnant naturally and now have a beautiful 1 year old daughter.

I fell pregnant again in Jan 2021 and sadly just had a misscarriag (march 2021)

I know misscarriage in women is common, however when i was scanned by a Dr she said my overies look ok to her. I only had a natural period 8 months after giving birth and it was regular again until I fell pregnant.

Basically my question is, I am terrified of having another misscarriage. Should I see my GP and ask re my pco diagnosis or wait until 1st natural period and try again, what if my period does not return after this misscarriage?

Anyone any advice or been in this situation before?

Thanks in advance :)

I have pcos and have a 4 year old and 8 month old.
Firstly sorry for your loss, I've been there 3 times myself.
The drs won't do anything for pcos until you've been trying for more than a year unfortunately.
You need to give your body a chance to recover, your periods will return in time. Try not to stress about it to much.
Sorry I can't be of more help but after 2 years of trying and 3 miscarriages I have my second child so there is always hope

Really @Mammyofasuperbaby Soo sorry to hear that - did you have 3 misscarriages in a row?

I am happy to wait and let my body recover, but I am in limbo, do I have pcos or not? What symptoms of pcos do you have? There are a lot of people out there on instagram etc who say they can help you but they want money off you - soo hard to know what to believe. I am glad you have your wee rainbow baby :)

Yes @Nellly20, I had 3 miscarriages in a row all within 9 months.
I have typical pcos symptoms of irregular cycles, weight gain ect. However my ovaries aren't always cystic (no idea why)
I know its hard but don't listen to those people who want money off you. They don't help and it won't get you closer to getting your baby.
The good news is that women with pcos get pregnant all the time, it just takes longer.
I am unfortunate in that I fall pregnant pretty easily but I end up either losing the baby or I end up with life threatening illnesses and nearly lose my babies.
