Hope you’re all having a good Thursday evening so far. I should have done quite a bit of housework today but sadly it remains on my increasingly long to do list! Hey Ho! I have been loving the sun but it doesn’t half show up the dirt & dust lol 🤣 DH is cooking tonight ( yummy sausage pasta). I’m on holiday & feel I’m not making the most of it so will do more over the next few days, weather permitting. Had a nice walk with DH today. DD12 has grabbed a Hot Cross Bun & says that’s all she wants for tea. She’s in her room as usual but I’ve told her she needs a shower before bed. Bit of an oasis on the tv tonight so might catch up with “Bloodlands”. I need to advertise my I Phone 6. Annoyed that I didn’t keep the box as you can charge more.

We've had tea - slow cooked beef sandwiches with chunky chips.

Both dd's have been in the shower & dd1's making tomorrow's lunch.

I'm finishing my cup of tea, then getting a shower. Once I'm out, I'll decide which crochet project to do some of tonight.

DH is training the puppy to lie down and I have just finished washing up after steak pie (he cooked) and am online for a bit, while looking forward to the new series of Taskmaster at 9.

I’m waiting on my tea cooking, DD has had hers. She’s upstairs cramming because when I’ve eaten we are going to record an episode of our podcast, and she hasn’t quite finished prepping her bit - she needs to write some quiz questions.

I’m running a bath, ds1 is revising for a Spanish exam, ds2 should be doing maths but is watching YouTube in bed, dh is still working

Getting very annoyed by DS screaming for a post-dinner snack when it's bedtime.

Me and DH both on laptops browsing whilst watching The One show.... also looking forward to Taskmaster at 9... and the Good Fight at 10 (recorded at 9)!

We are having Thursday night panic. Dd1 is writing in her reading diary and practicing spellings and dd2 is reading her reading book.

I've worked 4 full days this week and it shows!

I'm sitting in my kitchen as tea cooks, DH is just back from a run and trying to work out if we've missed an episode of Masterchef, while grumbling that he doesn't even like Masterchef and can we not watch more of that 'Honour', when he means Your Honour. I am infuriated.

DD is trying to teach DS4 a dance, I guess from Tik Tok, he's not meeting her double act standards.
DS3 is trying to trim the cats claws. Both are unenthusiastic about the task.
DS2 is upstairs, I think still gaming but is meant to walk his dog before 8, so I'm expecting him to dash out the door as I serve dinner.

The Good Fight is a good call.

Partner is having his weekly catchup argument with his parents.

Later we’re going to start a houseplant jungle jigsaw puzzle.

Neither of us work on a Friday so the weekend starts now for us, which is especially exciting now my son is back at school. Actual child free hours.

I’m laying in bed with the 3 year old who has just dropped off to sleep but I can’t be bothered to love just yet. The 7 year old is in the bath and Dh is watching YouTube.

When the eldest is asleep Dh and I will have quorn Bolognese on pasta or chips, not decided yet.

Had a strangely quiet day. Couldn't really relax but was off work. Have the housework done and dishwasher on. Need a shower then watch a bit of TV. Do a bit of gardening tomorrow and grocery shopping.

DS is in bed but probably not asleep yet.

I'm waiting for my tea to finish cooking and watching US office for the billionth time. I'm so fucking bored!!

OH is in the other room because after a year of us both WFH and barely going anywhere I've found i need some space in the evenings

Just had a grocery delivery and emptied dishwasher. I’ve just got into bed, feeling very tired today.

Dh playing among us with youngest dd. Other two on screens probably chatting to friends. They’ll be going to bed around 9.

I watched skyline. Rubbish film, don't waste your time.
Also I deep cleaned my kitchen whilst teaching DC the moonwalk.

DH is downstairs watching something noisy on TV. I'm in bed right above with DS2 who's asleep. I'm going to try and sleep soon as I have an ADHD assessment tomorrow and I'm bricking it.
DS1 is fast asleep in his own room.

Ds2 (11) has just gone up to bed. I've just turned the laptop off after catching up on some work and am hoping Ds1 (15) will emerge from his cave to watch The Walking Dead with us, because Dh has a programme about sewage on at the moment, which doesn't exactly appeal.
If he doesn't come down I'm going for a hot bath and an early night and leaving Dh to the sewage.

I'm in bed watching Blade and playing on here and FB. Toddler asleep, dog asleep. Can't decide if I want a biscuit enough to get up and fetch one.

I’m watching the RAW Anna Politkovskaya award for women reporters in war zones

I'm in bed with a glass of wine because I couldn't stomach watching the football (Rangers are playing a team from, at a guess, Prague. Ds isn't a rangers supporter but wants to support a Scottish team in Europe so he and his dad are having a few beers and watching a match that dh has no interest in whatsoever!)

Dd2 is in her cesspit room, "tidying up" as she wants the new boyfriend to be allowed round this weekend. She hasn't twigged that as they've been going out since Tuesday there will be very little time in the bedroom!

Feeding the baby back to sleep as she had a post-bedtime evening wake up for the first time in about a week Earlier was: baby bedtime, cook dinner, eat dinner in front of half an episode of Breaking Bad, get covered in sherbet eating a sherbet fountain from the retro candy selection DP got me for Mother's Day (I'm sure the licorice used to have more structural integrity). Evening (and episode) curtailed by crying baby. DP now watching football.

In bed freezing cold with temp 38.8 after first Covid vaccine. Kids peaceful doing homework and chatting with mates. DH doing the dishwasher. Need to sleep but head racing.
