Free childcare

Hello, wasn't sure where to post this. How do I apply for 15 hours free childcare? I already know I'm entitled but no idea how to apply. My child is supposed to start after Easter

Thanks

From my local council site "You don’t have to apply for the universal 15 hours free childcare funding yourself. When your child has a place the provider will apply on your behalf."

Where will your child be attending? They (the provider) should apply for it. You don't need to do anything other than fill out a from which they should provide.

Sorry I should add my child is 2, that link is for 3-4 year olds

Go on to your local councils website. Type in 2 year funded childcare and there should be a button that says apply now. You need to get a code to give to the nursery before they can claim for it.

You need to apply through your local council - they should have a link of their website.

Thanks so much

Just phoned local council, apparently there is a delay in the vouchers that have been sent out. They said as soon as I receive the letter I can get her booked in somewhere

Thanks again everyone.
