Ideally I need someone to turn up at 6:45 they are up/ dressed. I leave at 7am. Do breakfast (cereal) put dishes in dishwasher so not festering all day long. Walk kids down to the bus for 8:15 (10 minutes due to meandering children) hopefully with dog (small lab) take dog for a bit more of a walk (I walk her at 6am too). Leave dog in the kitchen finished for 8:45.

Does anyone do this? What do you pay roughly? I was thinking 12-14 quid an hour maybe to make up for crappy hours. Would you advertise it with the dog walk optional which it is but then it's only 1.5 hours.

I'd prefer to do breakfast club but ours doesn't start early enough.

Not exactly the same, but I used to drop mine at a childminder soon after 7 on my way to work. They needed to be dressed but they had breakfast there, and then she got them on the school bus.

I think the tricky thing about your hours is that they'd stop the person taking another job from 9.

Yeah I know that's why I thought the option of finishing at 8:15 might help and I can drop the dog off elsewhere. No childminder where my kids go to school and it's opposite direction from my work so would have to be even earlier.

I suppose plan B would be an au pair but I'd be a bit worried about them being bored as we are rural so not the opportunities that are in the cities.
