What can I do to lose weight?

I've tried fast 800
Calorie counting
I can exercise regularly
Low carb
TRE

But I just can't get rid of about 10lbs
I'm within my healthy weight range but would like to be at the lower end

What are your tips?
Best type of exercise?
How can I mix it up for best results?

Joe Wicks 90 plan - is amazing! Just look at the Facebook page and there’s loads of very impressive before and after photos

Forgot to say that my BMI is in the healthy range but in the first 4 weeks I lost 7 inches overall on bust, hips and waist!

I’m on Team RH (look them up on Facebook).
My settings are 2110 calories per day (131g protein, 262g carbs, 32g fibre, 59g fat), 15000 steps and 3 weights workouts - I’ll admit I’ve been a bit shit with these.
I’ve lost 20lbs since the start of Jan, lost at least a dress size too, eat chocolate/hot cross buns daily. Don’t feel deprived at all.

Wow great thanks

At 45 I know I can no longer eat what I want but the fasting isn't working for weight loss although I find it fairly easy

I can't do 15000 steps per day but I enjoy running, body combat and weights with a trainer once per week

I think it’s a lot harder to lose weight if you’re already a healthy weight.

MozzchopsThirty · 17/03/2021 21:46

Yeah I think you're right!

Even if it was all tight and toned up it would be better
I could cope with the scales if I could feel good in my clothes
I've been the same size for 30 years, now all of a sudden I just can't manage it at all

@The6thQueen impressive weight loss on quite high calories, how does that work?! Are you very tall if you don’t mind me asking?

The6thQueen · 18/03/2021 11:15

@MolotovMocktail not tall - I’m 5ft 6. Starting weight was 194lb so it’s notable weight loss.
I genuinely never thought I could eat like this and lose weight. It’s the exact opposite message of many groups and ‘clubs’.
The message is calorific deficit, you could eat purely McDonald’s and lose weight so long as you burn more calories than you eat (not healthy for you though!). Any time you’ve ever lost weight is because of being in a deficit, not cutting out food groups or excessive exercise.
Seriously give it a look (he’s quite sweary and the main page is all about getting people to listen so it’s a bit controversial, members group is nothing like that).

Steps are easy - step whilst watching tv, waiting for your microwave to ping, park a bit further at the shops. You can do seating cardio etc too. It’s all very doable and realistic.
