National Trust Gift Question

I bought my mum a NT membership as a gift for mother's day. I chose for it to start on May 25th as wanted wait until everywhere was likely be open. However her membership card came yesterday and I was wondering if that means its now active?

There will be an expiry date on it, that’ll tell you when it finishes I assume it’s active from now? They don’t have a start date

What type did you get? I have Life Membership and it doesn't expire. If annual I would guess it's probably active for this season, lots of NT places close over winter.
