I am alone in the evenings and just so bored of trawling the tv before I can get going with anything!

I have Netflix, Amazon prime, Disneylife (or plus? Whatever it is called), discovery+.....

Some of my fave shows:
Pottery Throwdown
Blown Away
Modern family
Real housewives
Any murder doc
Judd apatow movies

I sound so boring 😄 I just want something easy and fun to keep me company while I craft. I have exhausted everything! I like scandi stuff but not if I have to read for now as I will be crafting. Thanks!

Have you seen all the previous series of Line Of Duty? They're awesome. And there's a new series coming out soon.

givememarmite · 17/03/2021 18:39

Have you watched Firefly Lane and Ginny & Georgina on Netflix? Both easy to watch. Dead to Me is fab too.
Bosch on Amazon Prime if you like detective stories, there's 6 or 7 seasons as well I think so would keep you going for a while!

DavidsSchitt · 17/03/2021 18:42

Schitts Creek Grin

DrunkBetch · 17/03/2021 18:44

Celebrity circle Stand up to Cancer - channel 4
Firefly lane - Netflix
Snowpiercer - Netflix

Jjacobb · 17/03/2021 18:46

I just binged watched Quicksand. It's a Swedish drama but the dubbing is good.
It's about a sensitive subject but I really enjoyed it.

PhillipPhillop · 17/03/2021 18:52

I'm re-watching The Split at the moment with Nicola Walker and her lawyer family. Nothing too deep and cases are interesting but for me it's about seeing what lovely houses well-off people live in. Grin

Baboutheocelot · 17/03/2021 18:57

Malcolm in the middle is on all4, or inside number 9 on iPlayer/Netflix.

TeachesOfPeaches · 17/03/2021 19:01

I'm watching a 2011 romcom called Something Borrowed which has just been added to Netflix

StormcloakNord · 17/03/2021 19:04

Schitts creek - agreed!! Grin

FreeAt50 · 17/03/2021 19:05

Mummysgonetobed · 17/03/2021 19:10

The One on Netflix. Just binged it in 2 days, very good.

queenofthenorthwest · 17/03/2021 19:11

@Mummysgonetobed what's the one about/like? Is it good?

thebestnamehere · 17/03/2021 19:11

This is Us. Good for listening to while crafting

Breaking bad still is good

PivotPivotPivottt · 17/03/2021 19:13

Outnumbered on Netflix

User57392985 · 17/03/2021 19:20

Ooh thanks for all the recs. Lived Ginny&Georgia, Firefly Lane. I should really try again with Schitts Creek, I have watched a couple. Also Line of Duty is a good shout although maybe I should stay away from anything remotely scary as I get creeped out when I’m alone and it’s dark outside 😄 going to trawl these replies, thank you. Will try The One too!

Schitt's Creek is well worth persisting with. It gets better & better. And there are 6 series so it will keep you going for a while.

thesandwich · 17/03/2021 19:22

Queens gambit on netflix is fantastic

MyDcAreMarvel · 17/03/2021 19:22

The Americans on prime is excellent.

Iceskatingfan · 17/03/2021 19:24

If you like real housewives I’d recommend Selling Sunset on Netflix! I agree the Circle is also quality reality TV! And if you liked Blown away and the pottery thing you might like the Great British Interior Design challenge or the Apartment.

TerribleCustomerCervix · 17/03/2021 19:24

Superstore on Netflix is good- it’s got a Parks and Recreation, light hearted thing going on.

Moxie if you’d like a bit of light feminism.

Booksmart is a good shout if you like Judd Apatow- it’s a girls’ take on Superbad which I thought was pretty decent

Iceskatingfan · 17/03/2021 19:25

Also Dead to Me might be your cup of tea

WhiskyIrnBru · 17/03/2021 19:27

Interior design masters on iPlayer has been a good watch

Cuddling57 · 17/03/2021 19:28
