Where do people look for part-time jobs these days?

We are looking to hire a part-time employee and have posted ads at gumtree jobs and next door. Where do people look for jobs these days as we have received very few applications where previously we have had quite a few using these websites.

Social Media seems to be the best bet.

Facebook local community page.

I was looking last year, I heard nothing from the ones I applied for via indeed etc

Finally got one because I was in the right place at the right time and asked the question.

What sort of job is it? I work in a specialist industry and there are plenty of part time jobs on the usual specialist job search websites. If you are talking something not particularly requiring any specialist skills, indeed.co.uk or local radio often has web and radio-based advertising. That's tended to be where dh has posted jobs when looking to hire an apprentice.

I am currently doing temp work while also searching for a part time permanent position. I look on indeed, Facebook and recruitment websites.
I tend to find a lot people who require part time jobs need specific hours.

So I would be interested in your such as mon-fri 9-3/10-2

Or remote evening work 5-9/6-10

I used to do the latter and it was great!

So if you can tweak the hours to fit in with school hours you may find it drums up more interest.

Local pages on facebook. My boss always advertises on there, that's how I got my job.

Local pages on Facebook, local newspaper in some areas, job centre, specialist website relating to the job.

Indeed is a good one.
