Man arrested over murder of Stuart Lubbock!

It's hard to believe that it has been 20 years since the poor man drowned at Michael Barrymore's! It was a shocking read.

I hope justice will finally be served for him and his family Flowers

Not mentioning names because it's an open case, but the Sun has a story which includes current ages. Meaning we know which of the people present has been arrested.

I cant believe that in a party of 8 people, they wouldnt all be aware that someone was being assaulted to death in such a brutal way. Absolutely no way. They all know and are all as guilty

Hope that Stuart's father lives long enough to finally see justice for his son. We watched the show on Ch4 about it, think it was last year. Poor guy suffered awfully before he died, disgusting that no one there was honest about what happened. I would have locked the lot up until the truth came out.

Just bumping this thread, because it is shocking that the perpetrator has been released on bail. MB knows, possibly the other 'party goers' also know who did this. I could not and would not protect a killer. Even if it was my own Mum. Shocking and disgusting, and hope those who have protected this evil killer are also done for perverting the cause of justice.

I think there was a reinvestigation im not sure of the details but I think his father asked for it last year.

Always so sickening to see MB on those reality shows, cannot believe he still enjoyed being in the limelight. Hopefully we will see an end to all that.

There were only 8 people there including Stuart.
Just by elimination the others knew.
Stuarts wife and kids have had this hanging over them, especially the sexuality speculation, they know and don't give a toss.

Stuart’s death/murder was absolutely heartbreaking and those involved in the cover up are arrogant twatting bastards who should hang their heads in shame prior to a prison sentence. I’m not saying everyone there knows all that happened but obviously someone does.

I remember this very well too, where has the person been named?

Only one of the guests seems to fit the facts we know

Have they actually named the suspect? Don't worry MN I'm not going to say it but The Sun and Daily Mail (sorry!) practically spelled it out for anyone who didn't know.

As others have said, there were so few people there it's just a process of elimination like in an Agatha Christie. I do not believe this man acted alone so the police will be hoping they can box him into a corner so he reveals another name. Here's hoping.

Sorry, I think you are right and they haven’t been expressly named. But there was only one man who was at the party who is now 50 and he is apparently now in a relationship with a different man.

Hopefully there will be some justice for Stuart. Unbelievable that people can treat others this way. Whoever is responsible needs to be held to account and if others were involved or covered up, they too need to be held to account.
It’s a disturbing case.
