Neighbours throwing things over fences

My ndn have taken to throwing their garden waste over the fence into my garden during the night. There isn’t huge amounts it’s done in a way that makes it seem like they hope I won’t notice a little bit each night. My garden is just grass not a stone or brick in sight but they have been appearing in front of my back door and tree clippings and leaves being pushed under my fences. Wood cuttings and gravel too. I also thought the local cats were pooing in my garden but when I went to scoop it there was some kitchen roll attached and it was squashed (sorry tmi) so it appears to have been thrown over. Always in the same spot. We had a falling out and they have been bullying me since so I refuse to speak to them or react. I am worried it will get more serious or they’ll put dangerous things over that will hurt my children and pets like poison glass or screws. Should I throw it back over or will it just start a war? I don’t want to stoop to their level but I don’t want to put up with it just because they’re aggressive threatening people. I am checking my garden every time we go out there and I shouldn’t have to. I am in the process of trying to move so I’m hoping it’ll be over soon but I need some advice how to handle it in the meantime. I don’t really want to fork out for cctv when I don’t plan to stay. I did report them but our landlords refused to do anything as did environmental health.

I would be putting up some privacy screening...you know that bamboo looking stuff that comes on a roll?

If you are in rented, then on the final day move out before it is dark but come back overnight before you hand the keys in and really fuck them over.

I have done so before and it is fantastic.

It may actually make them think they do not live in a self-indulgent vacuum.

It may be time for the dreaded conifer, never thought I’d say it.
Utterly disgusting what they’re doing, as you are hoping to move I’d be wary as any disputes have to be declared. They are in the wrong, but I’d probably say nothing and hope for a quick exit! I’m sorry your having a terrible time!

As someone with horrible neighbours, do tell me more...Grin

Keep quiet and move. It's such a good feeling to leave a horrible neighbour behind.

Can you put up a camera covering your garden. Make it really obvious so they will see it. They can't complain about privacy if it's only covering your property.

My dads ndn kept throwing sand and other items over his car so my dad put a camera slap bang in the middle of his window, pointing at the driveway. The ndn complained a bit but there was nothing he could do as it was just on my dads drive. But it did stop him

Would a ring doorbell work if put high on your rear wall overlooking the garden? I know they are cheaper than CCTV.

Ginqueen20 · 16/03/2021 23:12

Thanks for all the replies some have given me a giggle, I would love to know more about fucking them over too panther lol!
The worst part is that they have convinced other people they are the victims and that I am doing horrible things to them
That’s a great idea about a ring doorbell Diana I will definitely look into that
