Smelling Nice

What can I do to make my house and clothes smell nice. Dont want anything chemically or false smelling though.

Everything, including our clothes, rooms, bed linen etc just smell of nothing. Not unpleasant smell, just nothing.

I bought some reed diffusers and I have to be within an inch to smell anything from them.

What do other people have in their homes, or use as fabric conditioner please?

There was a lady on This Morning the other day that cleaned her bathroom with lemons and I think it was baking soda? Apart from that I only use chemical things, like Nutradol air freshener, vanilla scented fabric conditioner, etc.
Hopefully someone will come along in a bit to tell you some more. Smile

Soy wax melts. I use ones from Waxify.

Humidifier with essential oils
Fragrance sachets (for wardrobes/drawers/to hang in rooms)
MYO cleaning products with lemon/citrus/essential oils
Essential oils dropped onto a cloth and tucked behind a radiator
Essential oils on a damp cloth and wipe down your walls (if you have the right paint - if not do skirting boards)
Ecoegg for laundry - use white vinegar instead of fabric softener (add essential oils for more fragrance if you like)

^fully aware I sound like a crazy hippie (or an essential oils saleswoman!) but we went chemical free cleaning a long time ago and the above works well for us Smile
