Red pepper stains....help!!

My dd has had red peppers for her lunch and has somehow managed to get red stains on her school shirt collar. This is the second time this fortnight.I still haven’t managed to remove the stain from the first white shirt!! I’ve washed it twice, used vanish stain remover on it and it is still there. Anyone got any suggestions?

Sunshine? That gets rid of lots.

Sunlight is brilliant on red stains. Stick the shirt on the washing line in the sun or even on a windowsill and it works.

If it is white soak it in napisan then hang to dry in the sun.

Soak in napisan, put it on a quick wash with half detergent and then into a full washing machine (has to be full to agitate the stain), works every time for us!

I agree - sunlight works wonders.
