Freight Forwarding job

Does anybody work for, or have experience of working for a freight forwarding company?

Just wondering what it actually involves, as I've seen a job ad but not much info given.

It’s basically logistics, arranging transport, road, sea, air and making customs declarations on behalf of your customers.
Your employer may also have a warehouse where the customers goods are stored and picked off as and when needed.

Thank you. Someone I know has told me it can be quite stressful meeting deadlines and that it's not uncommon to be in the office way past home time, if there's a problem with the deliveries.
