Quick question about civil service job applications

I'm having a last minute panic to submit an application today. I'd talked myself out of applying for the role but I've changed my mind.

I've done my personal statement, and I'm just finishing up the CV section.

What's the difference between 'employment history' and 'previous skills and experience'?

I'm new to the civil service/the country and the application process is very different to what I'm used to.

It's literally as it says. Previous employment history is firm, role and dates, skills and experience is a more in depth description of what skills you learned in those roles and how they will be applicable to this role.

Are there no competency / success profile question to complete?

Ok, that makes sense. I have all of that in a slightly different format, with skills/experience under each job.

The competency questions were combined into a personal statement, but I basically answered it as 4 separate parts.
