Any social workers on here?

My daughter has a social worker and the assessment was 'child in need'. All was going well and we were getting some great support from the social worker but my daughter has now started self harming (cutting). Will this mean the plan will change to child protection? Just wondering what might happen next. Thanks

Not necessarily no. It will all depend on the context, type of self harm, severity, regularity, and if there is a safety plan at home that can be followed. Tough times for her x. And tough times for mum too Flowers

@Twistered thanks so much for the reassurance. We've been told we're doing everything right so hopefully okay.
