If I love Cafe Nero Americanos

If I love Cafe Nero Americanos (black) what instant coffee would I like?

Also what is the best inexpensive coffee machine I would love & which beans?

I can’t speak from experience but DH likes cafe Nero americanos and won’t drink instant coffee at all. When our expensive coffee machine broke he was quite happy with cafetière coffee. For beans, I’m sure cafe Nero will sell you a bag of theirs.

I like Americanos, but can’t bear instant coffee. I use a cafetière or a coffee cone at home. Or a stovetop espresso maker and add boiling water to the cup to make it longer

You can get ground espresso coffee which should do the trick. Lavazza is a nice one

I grind the beans and use a stainless steel filter like this to make coffee. It's not the same as an Americano but it's pretty good. The beans that I use are Monsoon Malabar which have a strong taste but very low acidity.

The only instant that I can tolerate is Percol Americano, but even that is a very poor second to proper coffee.

I should warn you OveryByYer that the glass carafe didn't hold the heat well and it got broken by someone in my very clumsy family (looking at you DH). But the filter works on anything with a wide enough neck so I just bought a pretty earthenware jug from the supermarket and I prefer that to the carafe anyway.

Nope, instant will never hit the spot. Invest in a decent espresso machine. I used to get an americano misto on the way to work everyday. I got a 2nd espresso machine for Christmas. Its my favourite thing in the world & saves me about £20 a week.
