Covid unlocking rules

I’m feeling confused by the rules. Am I within the rules of the planned unlocking timetable to plan an outdoor kids party for after April 12th? If I do is there an intended restriction on numbers?
I can see a date for rule of six or two households and then hospitality opening outside, but not sure what this would fall under.

I want to think bugger it they are in school together anyway, but won’t if it falls outside the guidelines.

I believe this would fall under the rule of 6 or 2 households, whichever is greater.

DS, one adult and four friends, then. That could provoke some challenging school playground politics, but will feel like he’s managed a birthday this year.

Are all the kids in the same "school bubble"? We were discussing similar, could a group of kids from the same school class bubble go to the park all together?

It's so confusing Grin

We had exactly this same rule last year. It means 6 people. The fact that they are allowed to meet in larger groups in other places is irrelevant.

I'd be tempted to make a sign for your garden gate that reads "DS School name - extra curricular activity - Birthday Club" and have them round Grin

This issue came up last year. If you have a party in your garden I think it is rule of 6. If you go to a COVID secure premises you might be allowed more. Last time the pottery painting place near us was doing parties for up to 10 from the same class based in their room size.
