Commission painted mug

So this is a bit of a niche one - I want to get my husband beautiful coffee mug with a picture of our kids names on it (eg they're called badger and bean - I want a picture of a badger and a bean. Real names altered to protect the innocent).

I want it to be lovely and artistically done. I've tried googling it and all that comes up is home paint jobs or picture mugs. I can't paint. This needs to be someone with some talent.

If you have a ceramic painting cafe anywhere near you then it might be good to ask there (and also have a very good look at their display pieces). They may know regular clients who would be good at doing designs. There's one that is not too far from us where I have seen 2 customers come for sessions doing their own things when I've been there who were incredible, one a guy of maybe 16 who was finishing a candle shade and one was a lady painting bowls that it looked as if she had also made from scratch instead of using the plain pottery.

Thanks I could try that. I think I'd be a bit embarrassed asking tho as I don't want a too "country" style which lots of people would do for animals.

I might be expecting too much!
