It's sunny here and I'm sat in bed with a cuppa
Social media switched off
Going to amble out for a coffee in a bit but it looks chilly
Eldest DC back at school tomorrow
Pray for me as I head into his pit erm bedroom to hunt for his uniform

DS is away with work tomorrow so may amble round for a doorway natter before he goes

I was just coming on to start a thread like this, so thank you hobnobs.

im currently still in bed. Debating wether to go back to sleep or get up. Hoping to potter in the garden later, have some seeds to pot up and some outside beds to tidy up.

Today feels like a day for pottering
Mine will be a kitchen kind of pottering as garden projects on hold currently as we need to do some pretty major work

I’ve just made myself a coffee and come back to bed, I’m going to read my book for an hour and hoping it’s not raining in a bit so I can tidy up the garden a bit

Lovely and sunny here but rain coming later.
Need to start making a plan as the garden will be a big job in a few weeks

I haven’t got a mum and i HATE this day. I don’t “celebrate” and don't have gifts. Don’t want them and my kids are fine with that. Infact it would upset me if they gave me something.

So to all those on Facebook who put posts on, tell your mum to her face you love her, don’t use social media to bombard us with it.

Sorry if its harsh but it just grates on me.

Oh and I’m gonna make mushroom soup and just been given fresh eggs straight from the hen by a neighbour passing by so gonna bake a sponge cake ,

DC have just left for the day with their dad. I'm off to do the food shop shortly. Reasons to be cheerful - will sn be able to get together for a chin wag and a glass of wine with my friend, warmer weather coming, I am free from cheating lying stbex
