If you were single for a looooong time and met your DH/DP, was it all worth it?

I'm so lonely yet only content in my own company, which I didn't think was possible.

I'm only 31 but I'm genuinely the only single person I know. Everyone my age is coupled up. People have even managed to start relationships during covid Confused

OP I’m in the same boat. I haven’t given up but I have definitely tried to get into my head that I may always be alone and to accept that. It’s horrendously shit and people who are in relationships or haven’t had long time frames alone just can’t get it or fathom the loneliness.

Funnily enough, when COVID hit, I didn’t notice much difference. My coupled up friends however could barely cope and still don’t...you are forced to be self sufficient when single for a long time. I’d still rather swap with them any day though!

Sorry no advice, just solitary.

Following. I've been single for 8 years now having been in relationships for most of my 20s. I don't regret the time I have had on my own, I know I am okay, but I would love to meet a partner.
