Black out blinds

Hi all, very boring (but necessary) question...

Can anyone recommend a black out system for child's room that:

  • isn't a gro blind using suction pads (worried about glass breaking)
  • is really easily installed/removed (window v tall and don't want to use a mini ladder twice a day to put up/take down)?

We already have curtains...

Thank you in advance!

Replace the curtains with black out curtains?

Bloc blinds are really effective and you can put them up as much or as little as you like. Their customer service has been nothing short of excellent .

Blind in a box. I bought a big pack a few years ago and just used my last one (several house rentals later). They just stick on and pull down, then use lemon juice or sticky stuff remover to get rid of any adhesive residue.

Pleated blinds, they fit into an internal frame & pull up easily.
