Haven’t eaten out for so long and stuck in a bit of a food rut. Any suggestions?

To me, restaurant good is high end, finely plated and rich.

Risotto is easy but elegant.

Make a steak but with very nice sides, like M&S skinny fries, homemade peppercorn cream sauce, and spinach sauteed in butter with nutmeg

A tomato and mozzarella salad with green pesto and basil. Or bruscetta.

Pilau rice

Grilled or baked piece of fish. Make sauce by boiling double cream then add Maldon sea salt, freshly ground black pepper, chives, parsley and lemon zest.

That's my favourite flavour combination but works with any flavouring or herbs you like.

Fresh basil, cherry tomatoes and chilli also nice.

Loads of decent restaurants are doing "finish at home" boxes, we had a Hawksmore one last night which was excellent! Also tried a Rick Stein one although wouldn't recommend that so much...
