Favourite - probably a tie between Always On My Mind and Suspicious Minds. It's just coincidence that they are both 'mind' songs. Least favourite is Surrender - it's too bleak and dramatic for my taste.

Great thread. I do love Elvis. Brilliant lesser known ones are I Gotta Thing About You and Paralyzed.

Love so many, but especially I Just Can't Help Believing and Such A Night.

@Heyha I love Snowbird! I am a huge Elvia fan and his gospel music is probably my favourite genre, along with the Comeback stuff. And Vegas, big overblown stuff.

We had Wonder of You as our first dance. His How Great Thou Art would be my choice for my funeral.

Favourite is incredibly hard to pick. Just Pretend, How Great, Amazing Grace, Thats All Right and Milky White Way probably.

Least - Fever, bit cringe

I love Devil in Disguise, Wonder of You and In the Ghetto. I'm not keen on Love Me Tender but that's more because it was a song our guitar group performed in Primary so think I sickened myself with it. @IAcceptCookies my dd also autistic is a massive Elvis fan too.

@countingto10 Pieces of my Life is one of my favourites too, also It's Midnight, especially the live version where he says "Listen Cilla" at the beginning.

Bridge over troubled water always makes me catch my breath, the S&G version doesn't have that effect on me.

My favourites are "Can't help falling in love with you," (but I also adore the UB40 version so maybe it's just the song) and "Hard Headed Woman."

Also love "All Shook up" - virtually no accompaniment to most of it except bass and someone slapping something wooden, just fab.
Is that the one in which he makes that lascivious "mmmmmm" sound, or is that "Don't be cruel" ?

@clickncollect where I win with dd I lost out big time with ds. His interests used to be TV aerials and lamp posts, now it's football and Grand Prix statistics, however women aren't seen as being able to talk sport so I'm spared that thank heavens.

I'm not sure about 'My Boy'. To me it's one of those songs that is a bit too Las Vegas, even for EP. Richard Harris recorded it too.
