Hi! So, a parent at school approached me about being on the PCTA. Apparently a lot of the people are leaving as they’ve been doing the roles for some years. This parent said to me that she wants the PCTA to be more (in her words) ‘pro-black’. Also said she wants to ‘get rid of the minions’
Firstly, the school is very diverse with kids for. All ethnicities, religions and backgrounds.
Secondly, I'm Unsure as to what ‘pro-black’, pro-white or pro-anything else means here. As far as I’m aware, the PCTA raise funds for the school for whichever area they need help with. Obviously loading with the school.
Any thoughts?? Thanks
