Sit down with him in and browse the sports direct website to see what he likes. I'm sure he'll be able to pick things out?

MUMSNUTTEH · 16/03/2021 11:38

Alright, I've done that, but he wants a ADIDAS Essentials Sereno Tracksuit, a £10 cap and a crossbody bag.

Also, maybe it's just me, but I really miss the old him, where I could just go to any clothes shop and he'd pick something out. I miss my little boy, anyone else like that?

Didn’t you have opinions on what you wanted to wear when you were 13?

Tigger001 · 16/03/2021 11:56

I thought you said you are willing to spend whatever?
Can you just buy what he had shown you ?

PeskyRooks · 16/03/2021 12:01

Haha that is my ds 13 all over! He's a 'roadman' Confused
You need sports direct, jd sports have got good sales on at the moment also I get quite a bit on eBay. Brands: Nike, Mackenzie, Kings Will Dream..
It's a learning curve me DH and DD14 are more of the goth/grunge persuasion!

I feel guilty saying this but I'm dreading these days. Hanging on tightly to my 4 year old DS 🤗

EdersonsSmileyTattoo · 16/03/2021 12:13

Wait until he wants trainers and his feet are too big for kids sizes!

£170 for trainers this week! To be fair to DS he did put £50 of his own money to towards theme

Obviouspretzel · 16/03/2021 12:13

I know we all grow up to sneer at our kids fashion but that look is horrible. Shit matching tracksuit and black trainers.

But. Thats what all the kids wear. Just get him what he wants, he is old enough to know.
