Best thin sanitary towels?

MozzchopsThirty · 12/03/2021 11:07

I'm having a procedure next week.
Haven't had a period in years so no idea!!

The blood loss won't be heavy but maybe need more than a panty liner

Can anyone recommend a towel somewhere between a liner and an actual pad

Many thanks

I love always ultra.
You can get them in lots of different sizes (I use size 4 the biggest)
They are very very thin but very absorbant too (a little plasticky though but that's the compromise)

I used them after every birth without a single leak (God bless wings!)

Best of luck

Not Always they stink of bad air freshener. I like Bodyform in the pink wrapper.

I thought always were quite long? I just don't want to feel uncomfortable

I've been using ones called TOTM which seem less plastic-y and haven't irritated. Also been trying some cotton reusables.

Seconding pink bodyform. Only ones I can find that aren’t revoltingly scented these days. I’ve mostly moved to washable, but they aren’t thin.

Timeforabiscuit · 12/03/2021 12:48

Body form pink wrapper vote here too - honestly the scents are truly awful.

minniemoocher · 12/03/2021 12:55

They are all very similar, I use supermarket own brand. Buy the "long" for extra security

dementedpixie · 12/03/2021 13:03

Always are mainly fragranced and stink
Bodyform would be my choice too

idontlikealdi · 12/03/2021 13:04

Bodyform pink.

SoupDragon · 12/03/2021 13:05

Another vote for Bodyform. Soft and no stink of perfume.

SoupDragon · 12/03/2021 13:05

I wouldn't touch Always with a barge pole and a gas mask.

Wannabangbang · 12/03/2021 13:10

Sainsburys own brand, no perfumed crap alot of the big brands are selling.
