Did you take progesterone pessaries to support your pregnancy?

And do you have any leftover?

I am a recurrent miscarrier. Onto my 7th pregnancy. Had one successful pregnancy (4th pregnancy) - I did take the pessaries for my successful pregnancy.

Now I can’t get any. Docs won’t prescribe unless consultant sees me first. Longer waiting times for consultant because of Covid.

This is so far from ideal because I should have been taking it from 4 weeks - am six weeks now. Desperate times!

If you can help me please drop a DM x

I do have some and have wished I could give them to a friend who is suffering with chemicals as I think it could really help her, but it's illegal to give someone your prescription medication and I think it would also be illegal for you to use it without a prescription.

I do completely understand your desperation though. Are you able to get to a private clinic? They may be able to see you quicker and get you sorted without as many covid delays.

Good luck

I have tried and failed to get appointments with two local private clinics due to Covid :(

It is such a rubbish situation.

Thank you anyway.

Ps I would happily commit a crime and take someone’s spare but totally understand that someone else might not be happy to do this (or send their spares on).

Oh that's rubbish, I thought private clinics would maybe even just be able to speak to you over the phone and sort you out with it then and there given your history. If you're in the south west or Wales I used CRGW and they were fab, very responsive so could be worth a try.

Sorry I can't help you with the actual pessaries - I have to be careful due to my job! But hope you get sorted.

I’m in the North East.

One said ‘we are offering a reduced service now and aren’t currently offering the type of appointment you need’

The other said pretty much the same but more bluntly.

I may just have to wait until my scheduled appointment and hope it isn’t to late...

It’s so frustrating when they’re doled out like candy in the US!
