Talk to me about laser eye surgery...

I’ve worn glasses full time since I was 5 and contacts since I was 15. Thinking about laser surgery as my eyes have started not to tolerate contact lenses, but it’s impossible find basic info online without giving out all my details.

Specifically; What is your prescription? I am a -9 in one eye and -7 in the other and not sure if this is too high.

How much did it cost? And most importantly was it worth it Grin

Other half had it done in January this year. He was blind as a bat before. It took about two minutes. He was in a lot of pain for the first five hours, then it got better and by the next day he was fine.

He had blood shot eyes for a week and had to have drops (all normal) but after that had been fine with totally normal vision.

It's been life changing for him.

Think it was about 4 grand so not cheap!

Didn't work for me. Was delighted to start with and then my eyes deteriorated again and now I'm back in glasses. Can't justify spending the money again now I have mortgage/DD etc.
